Meet Darla Knox
The Steward
Darla Knox was raised to take care of what lasts.
From the fields to the front porch, she learned that land, family, and neighbors don’t keep themselves—you have to tend them.
Divorced and raising a daughter now in college, Darla serves her community as a non‑profit housing steward and local council member.
Her days are a mix of problem-solving and protection: keeping elders in their homes, defending working land from neglect and exploitation, and ensuring dignity isn’t the first thing cut when budgets get tight.
As The Steward of the Ameriquins, Darla embodies duty, patience, and accountability.
She believes renewal starts close to home: fix the fence, check on the widow down the road, and hand the next generation something better than you received.
On her wrist and in her work, you’ll find the marks of caretaking. These are tools worn smooth, a dog that shadows her steps, and a shield etched with wheat to remind her that harvests follow faithful hands.
With a steady voice, she reminds us: “Take care of what you’ve been given.”

Introducing Darla Knox — The Ameriquin Steward
The Freedom Still Rings™ Collection
Why Freedom Still Rings for Darla Knox | The Steward
I’ve opened my door to neighbors in need, shared meals at long tables, and carried the weight of community when times were hard.
Freedom isn’t only found in speeches or monuments.
It is lived out when we care for one another, when we protect what’s been entrusted to us, and when we honor the roots that hold us steady.
This shirt isn’t just fabric.
It’s a reminder that freedom still rings when we stand watch, when we serve faithfully, and when we preserve what truly matters.
