Meet Keisha Tormund
The Teacher
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Keisha carries herself with the steady grace of someone who knows the power of education and encouragement.
At 31, she is engaged and teaching 5th grade with a joy that reaches far beyond her classroom walls.
Raised in the Baptist faith, she weaves music and spirit into her lessons, offering resilience in the face of cynicism and hope in the face of doubt.
Keisha believes every child holds a spark worth protecting and nurturing.
She has faced challenges with quiet strength, never letting setbacks define her or her students.
To her, lessons aren’t only about books and tests, but about dignity, courage, and belonging.
As The Teacher, Keisha reminds us that America’s story is written in chalk dust and ink — in classrooms where children become dreamers and leaders.
She teaches us that true progress begins with listening, guiding, and believing in the potential of every person.

The Freedom Still Rings™ Collection
Why Freedom Still Rings for Everett Boone | The Guide
I’ve led children through pages of history, sounded out words that opened whole worlds, and seen the spark when a young mind finally understands.
Freedom isn’t inherited by chance.
It lives when each generation learns, questions, and grows into its own strength.
This shirt isn’t just fabric.
It’s a reminder that freedom still rings when we teach with patience, when we share wisdom freely, and when we pass on the knowledge that keeps liberty alive.
